Asakusa, Sensoji temple and Sumida river 2021 Tokyo Japan

The symbol of Asakusa is a huge red lantern hanging from the Kaminarimon Gate, almost 4 meters high. Kaminarimon's gate full name is Fujin Raijinmon, meaning The Gate of the Gods of Wind and Thunder.
Sensoji temple is the oldest Buddhist temple in Tokyo from the 7th century.
Close to the temple is the bank of Sumida river where you can relax after the crowded shopping street of Asakusa and have a nice view on Tokyo Skytree.
