Peace and Blessings Beloved
It's that time of year where I begin to feel more Alive..Spring is here...my creative energy needs an outlet..and Dancing is one of them
My go to for Movement has been "FLOW ARTS" which is a movement-based artform that integrate dance and creative exploration of movement with skill-based prop manipulation
✅I started with HulaHooping for fitness..then discovered Hoop Dancing. This helps strengthen your core
✅then got hooked on Veil Dancing( Lots of upper body movement and legs as well)
✅then I got hooked on dancing with # LedFiberWhips
✅And now VEIL POI(practicing moves builds up a sweat)
Actually all of these require "Spinning. which if done for an hour burns 200-800 calories!
Engaging in these activities provides a full-body workout, improving cardiovascular health, strength, flexibility, and coordination.
Consistency(practice) is key as I've experienced my body "change" in the past which encouraged me to change my diet as well
Right now I'm 65...I'll be 66 11/26/24..I started this activity back in 2017 with Hula Hooping
Out of all the types of exercises and gym...FLOW ARTS keeps me moving!
