BISPERAS NG KASAL SA PROBINSYA / TRADITIONAL WEDDING IN THE PHILIPPINES / PART 1

Sharing with you is the most memorable event in my life - my very simple wedding!!! It was held at the Mayor's Office and the celebration was done at our family compound lot last July 17, 2021 in Barangay Panikihan, Pola, Oriental Mindoro. The wedding was planned and staged in the traditional manner. Nearby relatives and friends gathered even the day before to assist us in the preparation of food and venue. There were really plenty of guests who attended; a gesture of the neighbors' acceptance of me and my husband - in our agri-based community. Our wedding could have cost more than Php 200k (US$ 55K) if without the help of my community.
