LIFX Color 1000 LED RGB Bulb Review

I'm slowly working my way into the world of home automation and I wanted to make lighting my first step. I was initially interested in going with the Philips Hue bulbs after hearing so much about them. However, after some research, I found people overall seemed to be far more pleased with bulbs from a company I had never heard of before - LIFX. I picked up a four pack of the Color 1000 bulbs and started playing around with them. After two weeks, I have to say I'm pleased with the results and ready to give my review.
