Short Snow Vlog

Snow Storm, January 6th, 2022.
I have to admit, I do love it when we get a bunch of snow at once. There was at least a foot, and I know surrounding areas with higher elevations got even more. It was a lot, but not enough to shut down going to work. Lola is still going with me everyday too so I can care for her eye. And my back is still pretty broken also, so no more carrying her across the back 40. If I take her cone off though, she can make it through the deep snow under her own power. Poor girl still doesn’t have a sweater though, I’ve ordered three now, none of them fitting. Yet another one is currently on the way, fingers crossed we finally got it right.
By the evening, my car was very buried. There was also I few tense moments where I didn’t think I was going to get my car going in the deep snow, the tires were spinning uselessly. But we got it and I didn’t even have to dig us out to do so, phew!
It was just starting to turn into freezing rain when we got home. Supposed to have high winds tonight. I’m going to be really surprised if we don’t at least lose power for a little bit, it’s the perfect recipe for it anyways.
