How to knit a Flower/Diamond Pattern | 14-row

//ABOUT THIS VIDEO//
This is a pattern that is a combination of flowers and diamonds. This pattern can be used great for scarves, cowls, and even hats and sweaters. This pattern is a 14-row pattern that is repeated till you get the desired length.

*TIPS*
- you would need to cast a multiple of 8 stitches + 2 stitches on either side as border.

*STEPS*
Cast on desired stitches for border
(For demonstration, I will cast on 34 sts in total)
Row 1: sl1, *p8, k second st first from front, k first st normal, k second st first from back, k first st normal, repat * till end of row, k1
Row 2: purl till end of row (all even rows)
Row 3: sl1, *p8, k second st first from back, k first st normal, k second st first from front, k first st normal, repeat * till end of row, k1
Row 4: purl till end of row
Repeat Rows 1-4 one more time
Row 9: sl1, *p8, k3, p2, k3, repeat * till end of row
Row 10: purl till end of row
Row 11: sl1, k1, *p6, k3, p4, k3, repeat * till end of row
Row 12: purl till end of row
Row 13: sl1, k2, *p4, k3, p6, k3, repeat * till end of row
Row 14: purl till end of row

Repeat these 14 rows till you get desired length
