How to Use Neem Oil to Get Rid of Spider Mites?

Why is adding soap to neem and water mixture important? Oil and water don't mix well, if you let them settle you will notice them separating. Yes, you could treat your plant like this. However, if you add a few drops of dish soap, a process called emulsifications happens, where the liquids mix together well and the treatment is more effective.⠀

1️⃣ If you've ever seen a fine web formed on your leaves, a non-symmetrical web, then you probably have spider mites. Spiders usually make a symmetrical web. But if you see a web, that usually means that you've noticed the infestation late.⠀

2️⃣ Another method of detecting spider mites is to hold a sheet of white paper under a leaf and tap the leaf a few times. If the plant is infested, some spider mites will fall on the paper, and will be easier to spot against a white background. You might need a magnifying glass though.⠀

3️⃣ The third one would be to check the underside of leaves. ⠀
