In this video, we will be discussing how to change the battery on any laptop. First, to avoid any scratches on the laptop, place something on your work area to make it easier to slide it around. Then, look up a video tutorial or brief instructional breakdown on YouTube that shows how to open your specific laptop model without breaking any clips. Once you have the cover off, look at how the battery is connected to the motherboard. On this model, the battery is easily disconnected by prying it open with your thumbs. Next, look for any mechanisms that are securing the battery in place, as not all models will be the same. In this case, there were none, so all that was left to do was unplug and lift out the old battery. Before putting the new battery in, make sure it's the same battery as the old one, and remove any plastic coverings. Place the battery in the same position as the old battery, following the same path of wiring, and connect it securely. While the computer is still open, it is a good idea to clean the CPU fan and tighten any loose screws. Finally, before putting the cover back on, power on the computer to make sure it is working correctly.
