Emmylou Harris was inducted into the Grand Ole Opry in 1992 after playing the Ryman and releasing her Grammy winning Live album At The Ryman that she recorded with Her new Acustic band The Nash Ramblers in 1991.

Emmylou played the Grand Ole Opry many times, and played there the first time in 1978 with Ricky Skaggs.

In 1992 Vince Gill Hosted the Grand Ole Opry and Emmylou and The Nash Ramblers played there.. Vince and Emmylou did a duet as well from her Album ANGEL BAND that she released in 1987. Vince had played many time with his good friend and also recorded with Emmylou in 1986 when she recorded her album THIRTEEN
