1955 Tonks Gambles Pickup truck Restoration.

This 1955 Gambles Tonka Pickup was sent to me by the third generation owner. The current owners grandfather was the original owner when the truck was new. He then gave it to his son when he was a child. When the child grew up and had a son of his own, the truck was passed down to his son (the current owner). The current owner wants to present it back to his father for Christmas! What a great gift! Keeping it in the family.
It was an honor to restore this old Tonka for such a deserving family. The truck had a nice patina, but the son wanted it restored to like new condition.
