How Sabretooth joined the AoA X-Men and why Gambit Quit (Age of Apocalypse Part 6)

We're back to continue the story of Age of Apocalypse, specifically content from the "Dawn" trade paperback. We'll discuss how and why Weapon X, Jean Grey, and Gambit all left the X-Men in this alternate future timeline, why Sabretooth joined and became a big ol' softy, and some interesting events surrounding Cyclops, Havok, and their father, Christopher Summers.

This video features content from a few different comic books as we navigate the Age of Apocalypse: Dawn 2016 publication. First is "Man Bites Dog" a story features in X-Men: Age of Apocalypse One-Shot #1, featuring the story of Victor Creed befriending Wild Child (Kyle Gibney), escaping from the clutches of Apocalypse and En Sabah Nur's son, Nemesis, and joined the X-Men of this universe. Written by Tony Bedard, pencilled by Paco Medina, inked by Juan Vlasco, coloured by Chris Sotomayor, lettered by Dave Sharpe, and edited by C. B. Cebulski.

Then, we take go over the events of X-Men Chronicles vol. 1 #2, featuring the X-Men and their ongoing struggles against Apocalypse. This time they battle a new threat called Wolverine, while Weapon X, Jean Grey, and Gambit all leave the team for their own reasons. Also, we breifly touch on the transformation of Nemesis to Holocaust. By Howard Mackie, Ian Churchill, Al Vey, Bon Wiecek, Steve Moncuse, Matt Webb, Digital Chameleon, Richard Starkings, Comcraft, and Kelly Corvese.

Finally, we get into one of Arden's favourite issues - Tales from the Age of Apocalypse: Sinister Bloodlines Vol. 1 #1, by John Francis Moore, Brian K. Vaughan, Steve Epting, Nick Napolitano, Al Molgrom, Kevin Tinsley, Richard Starkings, Comcraft, and Matt Idelson. This story features Scott and Alex Summers learning the true nature of their father as they navigate growing up as elite agents in the domain of Apocalypse. But Minster Sinister has been up to something, and a sinister race of aliens called the Brood have come to Earth.
