Deep below London’s streets there’s trouble brewing…

Sewer flushers Rob and Dan are called out to deal with a blockage that could result in a major health hazard if left unchecked. Following them down into the Victorian-era sewer system, we reveal their revolting working conditions in what is one of the most strange and oddly satisfying jobs for those with stomachs strong enough to do it.

Meanwhile, Steve from Leicester’s city council, with the help of the police, evicts squatters from a vacant building and we get to see the conditions they lived in and the damage and waste they left behind. Wolverhampton hero, Litter-picker Lew, cleans up a woodland area plagued with drug paraphernalia and finally we’re out on the river Tyne in Newcastle with water born cleaners Mark and David ridding the river of some of its larger floating objects.
