Vault Sessions: The Reverend Horton Heat plays a 1958 Les Paul Burst (Season 2: Episode 10)

In this episode, Reverend Horton Heat talks his first blues albums, learning to play like the “Kings”, starting a turned-up Rockabilly band, and wanting to be like Jimmie Vaughan. The guitars featured in this video are a 1953 Aztec Gold Telecaster (dubbed “D. Dunson”) and an amazing 1958 Gibson Les Paul “Burst”. All of these guitars are on display at the Songbirds Guitar Museum in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
