E34 REAR STEERING PIT ARM REPLACEMENT: BMW 5 Series 1988 to 1995

This is an easy fix and if you can change a tire, you can replace the pit arm. It should take about 1 ½ hours or maybe 2.

The rear steering pit arm is the meeting point for the rear wheels and all critical suspension components that helps keep the rear end in alignment during hard turns and bumps. When the pit arm goes bad, it can compromise the car’s performance and handling as well as for the tire to wear unevenly.
