Trump: If you want 'depression, doom, despair and boredom, vote for Sleepy Joe'
US President Donald Trump has warned, if Americans want "depression, doom and despair and boredom," they should "vote for Sleepy Joe Biden", as he criticised Pennsylvania's governor for failure to open the state up.
President Trump said Mr Biden wanted to lock down the country to fight the coronavirus while defending his administration's COVID-19 response.
"The Biden lockdown; he's willing to lock you down; you guys haven't even opened yet," he said.
"What the hell is going on in Pennsylvania?
"The Biden lockdown will crush America... look at our numbers compared to Europe."
Mr Trump attacked media organisations, claiming they unfairly covered the effectiveness of his administration's coronavirus management.
"The way they [the media] cover it... we have saved millions of lives and they refuse to cover it. Not for me, but for the people, the admirals, generals, Mike Pence, everybody that worked so hard on this and they refuse to acknowledge it," he said.
"We made a lot of bad governors look good."
President Trump touted the antibody treatment he received when infected with COVID-19, promising to make 100 million doses of it available by the end of the year.
