Art Exhibit - Day in Pompeii - NOT recommended for Young Children - Denver Museum

These are some snapshots from our recent visit to the Denver Museum (no flash allowed) ..... The exhibit a Day in Pompeii was fascinating but I would not recommend it for young children. The resin and plaster castings did show some detail that might be disturbing for a young child if they understand the concept of what happened during the eruption of Vesuvius.

The photos show the castings, jewelry, cooking items, carbonized food, anchors, weights and so much more. This is a really 'Awesome' exhibit!

This is a traveling exhibit .... visit it when it comes to a museum near you.
