2026 Toyota Prius Plug-in Hybrid....a really good EV that you can run on gas!

The 5th generation Prius is the most no Prius ever made...it's actually fun to drive and quick. The added expense of the plug-in should be able to be recouped if you drive under 40 miles a day most days and always plug it in. To go 40 miles on EV only takes 13 kWh which would cost $1.30-$2.10 depending on your electricity cost. For us it's free as we get free unlimited power every night.

I think for an economy car it is a really good vehicle. I do wish it had more what I consider normal features like rear seat back pockets, high quality 360 camera, and rear heated seats.

While the Ford Escape Hybrid had more room and a long high reliability history (NYC cab drivers love them), with Ford ending the model I preferred the Toyota.
