Let's go to Gold Hill in Region 5, Guyana.

August 13, 2019. We visited Uncle Aaron at Gold Hill in Region 5, just across the Mahaica River. It is a 2 mile walk from where I stayed in Pakuri Village. There was a bit of drama as the road was flooded.

There are snakes, caiman and other dangerous creatures in this forested area but my guides believed that I wanted to turn back because I did not want to get my feet wet...
