Motor drive to helical focuser.
This is a very simple and inexpensive remote drive to a telescope helical focuser. A motor drive avoids the need to touch the telescope. The picture on the monitor screen [or laptop] can be used for precise focusing when imaging with an astro camera. It uses a "Skywatcher" DC focuser motor via a HitechAstro DC focus controller. Though a stepper motor system could just as easily be used. The video shows my modified PST etalon and filter stack for H-alpha imaging.
