The Gresham PD get some claps today; they arrived at a pub on Burnside to find a man injured, but at the time, there were no ambulances available, so the cops & firefighters slung the guy up, chucked him in the backseat, and drove him to the hospital in the cop car. Which is genuine hero stuff, but guess what, that’s something you do now. The next bleeding guy is just gonna hop in.

Big game for the Portland Winterhawks tonight as they take the ice in Prince George, British Columbia for Game 5 of the Western Conference Championships. A win tonight means they go to WHL Championships, and if they win that, they get to play for the Memorial Cup, which will be held in America for the first time in 26 years. The two Americans on the team will enjoy that.

And finally, In-N-Out has done a masterful job of holding our attention by teasing new locations, but in bigger & better news, (yeah, I said it), Burgerville has found some new money, and is going to be joining the burger expansion wave across the NW, going from 39 restaurants to who knows how many? Animal Style vs. a Marionberry Shake? Ain’t even a contest.
