Begusarai’s Lok Sabha seat is among the most talked-about constituencies of the ongoing General Elections 2019. During the coverage of General Elections 2019 at Begusarai, the team of ‘The Lallantop met a group of transgender (Kinnars) outside a restaurant in the market and discussed their lives, struggle, family and dreams. They also shared their views on the current political atmosphere in the district.
On being asked about their expectations, they mentioned equal employment opportunities for transgenders which would enable them to earn their livelihood respectfully.
