Electric Pop Pop Boat V3.0 / Fireboat Experiment (4K)

Experimental DUAL Peltier electron generators. This version uses a screw in the water to drive the boat for greater efficiency. It converts fire/heat to electricity and drives an electric motor. Pop pop boats convert fire/heat to mechanical motion of water (through flash heating of water).

After reviewing the "game footage" I've concluded that this design will never fly. ;)
PROS:
- Unlike a regular pop pop boat, this can be changed to burn many fuels (wood, charcoal, old cooking oil....), does not need a focused flame.
- Motor / speed could be simply controlled because they are electric (by remote if desired)
- Can run a very long time
- Easier to build and operate than many fire boats (ex: steam engine).
CONS:
- Very difficult to control the fire temperature because of fire box, wind, boat motion....
- It's hard to reach the most efficient temperature
- It's easy to overheat and ruin the Peltier devices
- Boat bottom has got to be flat making for inefficient/ugly boats
WARNING: It is extremely dangerous to use any volatile, flammable fuel (Do NOT use fuels that evaporate or boil easily like alcohol, lighter fluid and similar) under conditions shown. There is also danger from hot surfaces, hot liquids, flammable liquids, hot surfaces, open flames,... that can lead to damage, serious injury.... Do not use without adult supervision. If you don't know, learn first or don't do it.
MATERIALS
- Hull (metal, flat bottom)
- Square aluminum tubing (from window/door frames)
- Peltier device (100C or higher is better) 1 or more!
- Heat sink compound
- Small motor
- Propeller (water or air)
- Candle or oil lamp
