Making Copper Soft Jaws from Scrap Copper Pipe for the CJ0618 Lathe - TipBlitz19

It's Tip Blitz 2019! A set of copper soft jaws for the lathe is very useful for holding parts without marking them. I had a bit of scrap pipe left over from when my house was renovated, which the plumbers had thrown away with the rubble left under the floor. It seemed about the right size, so I thought I'd try and make a set of soft jaws with it. This is the first video making something for the new CJ0618 Chinese Lathe I bought recently.

Tip Blitz 2019 is a collaboration between loads of machinists and makers on YouTube organise by Emma Ritson of Emmas Spareroom Machineshop. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCGzK_LtfsUZ5KG1CczVg8AA
