Auto cut off 12v battery charger using relay | input 230v ac
In this video i have shown how to make a simple automatic battery charger circuit with auto cut-off features. You can use any battery in this circuit and just set the threshold voltage as per your battery. Normally the relay is OFF and battery charged but when battery voltage increases to the selected voltage the relay energized by the transistor which now disconnect the battery from the charger thus it prevents from over charging.
Components details :
Stepdown Transformer - 12 V
FR207 diode - 4 no's
Capacitor - 1000 uF / 50v
Relay 12v - 1 no
Transistor BC547 - 1 no
1K resistor
3.3K resistor
Red led
Green led
10K Trimpot
12 v Battery
