The Horror Game That Feels Like a Lost Classic - Project Crypt (FULL GAME)

I played through Project Crypt, and honestly… this feels like a lost horror classic.

It’s heavily inspired by older psychological horror games like Cry of Fear, with that same early 2000s atmosphere, limited resources, and constant feeling that something is just off. The game throws you into a hostile city filled with disturbing enemies, and you have to manage your ammo, your health, and your sanity just to survive.

What really surprised me is how much charm and identity this game has. It’s not just trying to copy older horror games it actually feels like something that could’ve come from that era and become a cult classic.

Multiple endings, tense combat, and a genuinely unsettling atmosphere made this one of the best indie horror experiences I’ve played, especially for a free game.
