Garlic is one of the essential ingredients in many Korean cuisine.
Instead of buying one or two garlic bulbs individually, I like to buy the whole bag of garlic at Costco with lower price, peel them and mince them. But as you know, peeling garlic can be such a hassle and time-consuming work. All those times, I was just literally peeling one garlic clove after one another without any clever tricks, and for sure, it took forever. Today I am trying new easy methods!
I am also sharing few tips on how to store garlic, how to alleviate painful/tingling sensation after peeling garlic and how to get the garlic smell of your hands!

비싸게 한두개씩 사는 마늘보다, 저는 코스코에서 한자루 사서 까고 다지는게 제일 좋더라구요. 마늘까기는 세상 귀찮기도 해서... 사다만 놓고, 주방에서 지나다니며 볼때마다 마늘까야해 마늘까야해만 외치고는 다시 못본척.... ^^;;;

전자렌지에 돌리는 방법도 있지만, 가끔은 마늘이 익기도 하고, 향도 맛도 날라가 버려서 다른방법으로 시도해보았어요.
