The derma roller, is used for a number of skin repairing treatments in the beauty industry. The science behind the process is to slightly puncture the skin to force it to repair itself. Puncturing the surface allows for medicine absorption. My daughter said she was going bald and had pulled her edges out with hair gel (gorilla snot). This was the perfect opportunity to call a trichologist over to help fix her hairline. We sent her back to college with a nice silk press and her stash of Pure O hair treatments.
