Ghost signs transport us back to the past. But these old hand-painted works of art, still visible on some of Edinburgh's buildings, are fading fast! So now was the time to get out there and document them before some are gone forever.

Until I made this video, I had walked past so many of these without even knowing they were there, so I'm glad I've discovered a wee bit more about Lost Edinburgh through these wonderful signs. I'd love to hear if you have similar signs where you live too, and also what would you do with them? Preserve, restore or let them fade away naturally? Oh, and did I miss any in Edinburgh? (I'm sure I did!)

As well as the vlog, I've documented all of the images at the end of the video to do my little bit to preserve the history of Edinburgh.
