KOSMOS is the fourth portable ultrasound I have ever tested, and it still amazes me every time. Using this feels like science fiction compared to the traditional card-based systems. And as mentioned in the title, this is the only portable ultrasound benchmarked against cart-based machines.

A POCUS exam was previously restricted by the limited capabilities of devices small enough to be convenient, hence was mostly a quick look or triage scan only. EchoNous has been developing intelligent medical tools for everyday problems in healthcare. Their A.I.-assisted, portable ultrasound (linked with an electronic stethoscope and an ECG device) received the European CE mark of approval last March; and a year later the company launched its online platform to streamline ultrasound education.
