Faces of Africa: Oliver Mtukudzi

Legendary Zimbabwean jazz musician Oliver Mtukudzi passed away aged 66 on January 23, 2019.

As a critically acclaimed musician, Mtukudzi toured several countries and had been endorsed by many companies as their brand ambassador.

Popularly known as Tuku by his ardent fans, he released 66 albums with his debut album released in 1975.

The iconic musician was famed for fusing southern African traditional music with modern day jazz, usually highlighting challenges affecting society.
