NASA successfully flew its tiny helicopter Ingenuity on Mars, the first powered flight on another planet. ‘Ingenuity’ was remotely controlled from earth, the first-ever powered, controlled flight on another planet. Nasa’s ingenuity flight’s plan was to ascend 10 feet above the Martian surface, hold itself for 40 seconds and return to the surface. Nasa scientists designed the helicopter using materials suitable on Mars.
