To beautify Meghalaya through vibrant murals and street art, Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma officially launched the Chief Minister’s Artist Engagement Scheme today. The program empowers local talent to transform urban spaces into cultural landmarks, providing a sustainable platform for professional growth. As part of the launch, selected artists received mobilization advance cheques of ₹20,000 each, initiating a broader effort to integrate Meghalaya’s rich heritage into the state’s infrastructure and tourism appeal.
