Some cool stats/info:
- Mercedes had the most vehicles in the video with a strength-to-weight ratio equal to or above 6.00
- 2016 Mercedes C-class had the highest STWR of 7.00
- Neglecting the old BMW 5 Series which had the worst STWR (4.04) in the video, out of the newer vehicles (2016-2020) with the lowest STWR was the Tesla Modle S (4.33).
- The Tesla Model 3 which is a lower-tier & cheaper vehicle compared to the Tesla Model S displays a stronger roof structure and strength
- All vehicles are given a G rating for good as they pass IIHS's standards for recommended roof structural strength in order to keep passengers safe in a rollover and potentially other roof-related accidents.

This test is conducted to analyse the force a vehicle can handle if it happened to roll over. The STWR is the most important metric because the weight of the car adds to the impact force when rolling over and the roof structure needs to be able to withstand the total force in order to keep the passengers safe.

The tests conducted have vehicle models from different years however it can be taken as a reference if the model doesn't change much structurally throughout the years. Check out the IIHS website for more information.
