Meryl Streep - 'Mary Fisher's Story' (She-Devil)

In 1989, Meryl Streep starred in a critical misfire called 'She-Devil'. Although the film itself was a disappointment (after all, Roseanne Barr starred in it), the one saving grace was Streep, who delivered one of the most hysterical performances as Mary Fisher.

Therefore, I have put together her material to create 'The Mary Fisher Story' to prove that this incredible actress is able to elevate every film she's in and can literally do ANYTHING. Streep took on the role to avoid getting typecast as the tragic and vulnerable characters she previously portrayed in films like 'Kramer vs. Kramer', 'The French Lieutenant's Woman', 'Sophie's Choice'.

Her performance as Mary Fisher proved herself as a comedic actress; furthermore, creating a three-dimensional character despite the 'limited' material she had to work with.
