Philippines Beefs Up Security At Airports After “Airplane Will Explode" Email | Bomb Threat Or Hoax?

Passengers in the Philippine capital faced increased security on October 6 after an anonymous warning that planes flying out of Manila to several tourist destinations could explode.
But that threat, sent via email on October 4 is now said to have been "most likely a hoax".
That's according to the the chief of the country's aviation security group.
Authorities ordered 42 airports across the country to step up security after receiving the warning.
