How to Add Fog in Lightroom and Photoshop

In this episode, I'm going to show you how to use the new “Dehaze” option in Photoshop and Lightroom 2015 to add a fog effect to your photo.

The workflow is as follow:

1. Start with a basic correction in Lightroom.
2. Open the photo as a smart object in Photoshop.
3. Duplicate the layer with the right click and "New smart object via copy" option.
4. Create a mask and choose black as the foreground color.
5. Make a linear gradient on the mask with the black to transparent option.
5. While on the mask, press Command L (Ctrl L on Windows) and use the Levels window to make your mask higher or lower.
6. Fine-tune the mask with a brush at 50% opacity as needed.
7. Re-import into Lightroom and do a final touch up there.
