IMCA Stock Car Racing Chevy Monte Carlo Willamette Speedway Nascar

Tonight we go short track stock car racing in the 2G 1987 Chevy Monte Carlo SS at Willamette Speedway in Lebanon Oregon. $5,000.00 payout for the winner in the IMCA stock car class. We also race in the ICMA Sport Compact Class. An eventful night of dirt track racing at Willamette Speedway while Sean hunts for the front. After a crash on the first lap of the heat race we had to start from the rear in the $5,000.00 main event. The all volunteer crew led by Brad Gentry and Vernon Foster jumped in worked hard and made quick repairs to the race car. The suspension was damaged but the Jet Racing chassis was good as new. Sean started from the rear in the Jet Racing, G&R Auto Wrecking, Garvin Auto Spa, Busy Bee Cleaning, Rusty Duck Garage sponsored Monte Carlo. He worked his way to the front for a top five fnish and a trip to the pay window. After a top five finish our car and 4 others went to impound for inspection. The car was weighed, msd ignition was inspected, valve spring pressure and carb cfm. We passed inspection and went to the pay window. A new fender and door and the Monte Carlo will be looking good again! Marissa in the Busy Bee, Professional Tire 4G Nissan Sentra had a busy night at the wheel.
