In their second game of the 2015-16 preseason, the Pacers defeated the Detroit Pistons 115-112 at the Palace at Auburn Hills.
Indiana was led by Paul George, who, for the second game in a row, showed his leg injury is a thing of the past. Much of the talk this preseason has been about Indiana's new offense, George's health and his transition to a new position, and tonight proved just how dangerous PG and the offense can be.
He followed up an 18-point effort in Indiana's first preseason game with 32, 20 of which came in the first half. He had the hot hand early, making 7-of-8 first half attempts, including four three-pointers. He finished 10-of-17 from the floor, 5-of-9 from three and 7-of-8 from the free-throw line.

What George started in the first two-and-a-half quarters was finished by newcomer Joe Young. The rookie finished with 18 points and was a perfect 7-of-7 from the free-throw line. Those trips to the charity stripe proved pivotal as Young helped ice the game down the stretch.

With the Pacers down nine in the second half, Young and second-year player Glenn Robinson III (13 points) allowed the Pacers to battle back and seize the lead.
Although it's just the preseason, a win is a win, and this victory should build Indiana's confidence as it continues through the preseason.
