TREKKING THE ANDES! PERU VLOG! HUCHUY QOSQO TREK WITH ALPACA EXPEDITIONS!

Trekking the Andes mountains on the Huchuy Qosqo Trek with Alpaca Expeditions! This three day trek starts from Puka Pukara a short drive from Cusco. From there we went up into the mountains where we immediately felt the effects of the altitude. The views were amazing and we also enjoyed watching the herds of beautiful alpacas living up there. We stopped for lunch at a lake and after a few more ups and downs reached our highest point at around 4,800 meters. We then followed one of the inca trails down to a mountain village where most of the houses lie abandoned, and we set up camp nearby.
In two days time we'd be at Machu Picchu! But thats for the next chapter!
At the time of booking this trek was £500 per person although we were told that prices would soon be increasing.
