For German cheese shopping, we decided to go to one of our favourite places: Allgäu, where you can find most of the german cheese types. Alpine-style cheese is very particular because is made of hay milk. The most famous Bavarian cheese is called Bergkäse cheese, other than this they do extraordinary german beer cheese, german wine cheese and romadur.
