Tech Tip Wednesday Pt. 2–4 🥁🎛️

Today we’re talking drum processing and one of my go-to chains that helps bring life, punch, and control to a kit in both live and studio environments.

My typical drum chain:
SSL Channel → Vitamin → C6 → CLA-76

🔹 SSL Channel
Starting point for EQ, filtering, and shaping the tone.

🔹 Vitamin
Adds energy, clarity, and harmonic excitement.

🔹 C6 Multiband
Controls problem frequencies and keeps the drums balanced.

🔹 CLA-76
Fast compression for punch, attack, and consistency.

The goal isn’t to over-process — it’s to enhance what’s already there and help the drums cut through the mix.
