Think outside the box but inside the brief 📦 More often than not, the first logo ideas we come up with are generic, cliché and have been done before 😓 But that’s a good thing! 😃 We want to get these ideas out and on to paper so we can start thinking more creatively. Having said that, we’re not necessarily trying to come up with the most unique ideas possible; rather we’re trying to think outside the box of predictability but inside the box of the brief. In this example, I could’ve spent hours trying to make a medical cross work linking to the health tech industry but it would’ve likely ended up pretty generic and boring 😴 Instead I revisited the brief and focussed on the idea of transformation through the expression of a geometric butterfly 🦋 The result was a more unique and memorable brand mark built so simply it should stand the test of time.
