How to stay warm in a winter adventure - all active and camp clothing explained

In this video, we explain how we dress for winter. We show all the clothes we wear while being active but also what we wear at camp.

We travelled more than two months on skis along the Lower North Shore in Quebec. Temperatures varied between -30 degrees and +5 degrees. We camped many nights in a tent or under a tarp. We learned so much about staying warm and wearing the right clothing during these two months. In this video we share our tips and tricks.

We are Zoë and Olivier, together we are WeLeaf. From 2016 until 2020 we travelled four years around the world on human power. We left Amsterdam by bicycle, hitchhiked across the Atlantic Ocean, cycled the Americas, north and south, hiked on the AT, paddled the complete Northern Forest Canoe Trail, skied two months in Canada and went by roller skis to Scandinavia. Currently we are living in Norway where we have our basecamp. From here we continue our adventurous life and organize human powered adventures and leadership adventures.
