Mr. Rogers Brings Audience To Tears When inducted into the TV Critics Television Hall of Fame

In 1999, Mr. Fred Rogers (Warmly known by the world as Mr. Rogers) was inducted into the TV Critics Television Hall of Fame. It is especially moving when Jeff Erlanger, (who had first met Mr. Rogers at the age of five then appeared on Mister Rogers Neighborhood at the age of ten to discuss being in a wheelchair, then proudly show’s Mr. Rogers and the TV audience how his electric wheelchair operates) surprises Mr. Rogers by making the presentation. The moment Mr. Rogers realizes it is Jeffery, he rushes to Jeffrey and shares a heartwarming reunion. When Mr. Rogers addressed the audience of television celebrities and producers, Mr. Rogers speaks of his respect for and understanding the powerful of television. Mr. Rogers was known for his kindness for all, tiny and tall. Millions of children grew up watching "MR. ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD". Mr.Rogers was also famous for his quotes of wisdom and was also a song writer including "Wont You Be My Neighbor".
NOTE: A new Tom Hanks film titled "Wont You Be My Neighbor" was released in late 2019.
