World Watercolor Month 2022

World Watercolor Month takes place during July each year, having started in 2016 by Charlie Shields of Doodlewash. It's a global celebration of all things watercolour, bringing together artists from around the world. New and experienced, leisure and pro, all can and do take part. But how do you get the most out of it and make sure you don't burn out in the middle of July? I took part in the first one and have dipped in and out ever since, so I will share a few ideas for making it a happy, fulfilling experience.

There is a list of official prompts which you can choose to follow or ignore (I'll post them on the community tab on this channel). You can paint every day or once a week. The choice is yours. Just share your work online with the hashtag #worldwatercolormonth and you will be part of a global movement.
