Complete Guide to Filament for FDM 3d Printers
Learn about selecting and printing with a range of 3d printer filaments for an FDM printer. The video begins by discussing the terminology that impacts filament selection.
Then I discuss PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, Co-Polyester and filled filaments. For each filament, I analyze its advantages and disadvantages, its typical use, and its limitations.
I use these filaments on a range of printers, including my Monoprice Select Mini, multiple Creality Ender machines and a Prusa i3 Mk3 FDM printer.
