Grow Big or Go Home

It’s a jam packed day on the homestead today - Ben is turning compost in the chicken coop with his freshly made woodchips, getting a new trellis system setup for growing our animal fodder this year, and Meg is in the kitchen making chicken pinwheels a cowboy candy.

Chicken Pinwheels:
Your favorite bread down recipe
Canned chicken
Cream cheese
Mustard
Green onions
Favorite seasonings - salt, pepper, garlic powder, etc

Mix everything but bread down together until seasoned to your taste. Spread mixture onto rolled out bread dough, then roll into a long log. Slice like you would cinnamon rolls and place on a lined baking sheet. Let rise until about doubled. Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes, until golden brown.
