Champions League draw: When is it, which clubs are competing and which clubs are in each pot?

The field of 32 teams for the 2021-2022 UEFA Champions League is all set.
The group stage draw is set to rake place in Istanbul which will begin at Friday 2am (AEST).

The 32 team names will be split up into four different pots and a name will be drawn from each to give shape to the eight groups. No club can play a team from its own country in the group stage. Each team will play a total of six group-stage matches with the top two teams in each group advancing to the Champions League Round of 16 in February 2022. The teams that finish in third place in each group are eliminated, but they'll drop into the UEFA Europa League knockout stage, where they will face the UEFA Europa League group runners-up.

The Champions League group-stage matches will be played in the following dates: Sept. 14-15, Sept. 28-29, Oct. 19-20, Nov. 2-3, Nov. 23-24 and Dec. 7-8.
