Sicilian food: there there is nothing like it. While we love a home cooked meal we enjoy going to numerous restaurants or sampling streets foods vendors around the island. On this episode of You, Me and Sicily we show you some of our favorites. There is a wide choice of Antipaso or appaertertizers. Plenty of primos which are generally a pasta , risotto or rice dish and Secundo either meat, fowl, fish or another main course . There is plenty that will please any palate. Whether you like fish like me or meat like Alfred or if you are a vegetarian or vegan there is something for everyone . And who doesn’t love all the pasta dishes and pizza dishes? Street foods like arancini, panelle, crispelle and take away lunches are also popular . But wait what about desserts ? Sicilian desserts are colorful, artfully made and scrumptious. And lets not forget the granita and gelato.
