Coram Hero Award - Krisann

Krisann Farrell, a Coram Clinical Support Specialist in Tampa FL, was the winner of the 2013 Coram Hero Award. Krisann has been a loyal Coram employee for 25 years and she always goes out of her way to help anybody, Coram patients and employees, as well as people in general. In 2013, Krisann decided to do something that truly inspired her colleagues, families and friends. She decided to give the gift of life and donate her kidney to a former Coram patient. Krisann received a record-setting nine nominations for her courageous and selfless act. She is a true inspiration and a Hero, not only to Coram, but to everyone involved in this special gift of life.
